Foi anunciado o lançamento de um vinil com a trilha dos jogos Red e Blue do Game Boy de 1996. Trata-se de uma trilha sonora original produzida por Junichi Masuda que será adaptada em LP pela gravadora Moonshake Records, que produz LPs de forma quase artesanal. O preço do produto ficará em torno de US$ 50,00, e tiragem de 500 cópias já produzidas em 2015.
A arte da capa é inspirada no oitavo álbum do The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band de 1967, e apresenta os 151 primeiros Pokémon além de elementos clássicos da Nintendo como o Mario, Toad e Princesa Peach.
